Happy Easter!  Hope Mr. Bugs was good to all the kids (little and big) out there.
Looking forward to the first day of April tomorrow and getting ready for another great season in the Kawartha Highlands.  The ice is still quite thick and isn’t showing any signs of leaving soon with the forecast ahead. The snow is starting to recede but there seems to still be a fair bit in the woods. The roads are in decent shape but if your lane wasn’t plowed I wouldn’t try getting in quite yet.  We are starting to get busy with Spring approaching.  We are getting numerous requests for some new toys for the docks and having said that will be posting a number of boats for sale coming soon.
Our hours from now until Mother’s Day weekend are Monday to Saturday 9-4 and closed Sundays.
If you have any requests for work to be done before launch please let Sally know well in advance to ensure we can get everything done.  As per usual we require two weeks notice for the launch of the toys.  If you don’t receive a response within 48 hours from us please resend your requests as that means we didn’t get it.
We are still selling the Kawartha Highlands Paradise video.  If you wish to have one sent to you to get the spring fever going please send us an email with your contact info and we will send one to you.
Here is the link to a short trailer to see what is in store for your viewing pleasure.
Enjoy the weeks and weather ahead and we will see everyone soon!

Welcome to winter….for the fourth time this year!  It sounds like the city might have melted since our blizzard on Friday but up here its still white and good for snowmobiling.  Lots of people were out this past weekend and hopefully more will be up this weekend.  The Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs is offering free trail passes for this coming weekend (Family Day).  The link is here and takes a bit of navigating but well worth it to get out and do some riding over the long weekend!

Now that the trails are officially open, we are open every day (including Sundays) from 9am until 4pm.  We will be closed on Family Day Monday (Feb. 18th).

People are out riding the lakes and although the shores are slushy in places its only because they’ve brought our water levels up yet again.

Happy Valentines Day and hopefully see everyone out and about this weekend!
