Welcome to Little Gull Marina!

What a fantastic weekend! We couldn’t have asked for much better weather given what we’ve had the rest of the summer and the fireworks display on Saturday night was awesome!  A huge thank you goes to Rick Asling for his work in organizing this event again and to everyone who helped to make it a success.  It was great to see so many boats out again enjoying the evening.

Tomorrow is the Beaver Lake regatta AND the annual customer appreciation fireworks on the North end of Mississagua Lake.  Big day!

Evening on the Water

Its hard to believe but August is just around the corner!  Where has the month gone? Its been great to see so many people out enjoying swimming, water sports and boats.  We’re still extremely busy which is a good thing this time of year….how many more weeks until winter again?? 🙂

Tomorrow is a big day here with the MDCA annual regatta out at the point!  Hopefully the weather holds up and everyone can get out and enjoy the community festivities.
Other upcoming events include the annual fireworks on Mississagua Lake this year on August 2nd, the Beaver Lake regatta on August 2nd and the Hovercraft Demo on August 23rd.
Lori is also running her last session of swimming lessons for the summer starting on Tuesday.  She is also going to run a bronze medallion/bronze cross course in the afternoons so for all the older kids out there thinking about life-guarding, its a great opportunity to get a step in the process completed and meet new kids up here.
