Summer Staff 2015

Its hard to believe that time has come again…Labour Day is just around the corner!
Summer is always a busy time and this year has been no exception.  We want to thank you all for your continued support over the years and we are very excited to see so many new faces moving in to the area!  We look forward to getting to know you and your families over the coming seasons.  We also want to wish the girls you see on the docks everyday all the best as they all set off on exciting adventures this fall. at new schools  We look forward to hearing all about Anne and Kery’s experiences as they start University at Queens’ and Laurier, and Claire’s adventures in hockey at Ridley College for her last two years of high school. Have fun girls!

Water levels are still holding fairly well and the weather is looking good but remember to book your toys in with Sally so that we can ensure they have a spot for their winter nap. Starting on Monday, we will be open every day from 8am-5pm.

On behalf of all the summer staff here at LGM, have a great fall and enjoy the beautiful weather to round out the summer!

We can’t believe how fast July went! With so much time passed, we have lots to update you on.
First of all, we owe a huge thank you to Rick Asling for organizing another awesome fireworks display on Saturday night.  Also thank you to all of the generous supporters who helped to make this another successful evening.  We hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful night on the water and the bright moon helped you get back to your docks safely.
We are also excited to let you know that we have a new rental property available!  Leah has been busy cleaning, painting, getting new floors installed and doing everything necessary to get ready for visitors.
Mary Davis has been busy out at the community center setting up a pickle ball court and she’d love to have people use it.  If you need a net, call her at 705-657-8549 for the next 2 weeks.
Finally, we would be very grateful to get updated contact information from you.  We know many people are starting to disconnect land-lines, or you may have moved or have a new email.  If you have a moment, please email leah@littlegullmarina.ca with updated information so we can continue to get in touch with you as necessary.

The kids are out of school, the shelves are stocked (lots of new flavours), we are officially open 8-8 everyday….it must be summer!  We’re excited to have Claire, Anne, Kery, and Kris back for another summer. We welcomed Julian to the LGM team earlier in the spring, and Heather and Shawna are back in the store after cleaning and delivering boats for the past couple of months.
Lori Harper is doing swimming lessons again this summer starting on June 28th.  She will be here on Sunday morning from 9:30-10:30 for in-person registration or to answer questions.  You can also find all the information on our events page, including registration forms.
We’re looking forward to seeing lots of new and familiar faces back at the cottage!
