Welcome to Janu….I mean June! As you can see by the clothing on the girls the temps have been quite cool for being out on the water delivering the boats back to their homes. We are continuing to see unseasonably low temperatures considering it is June.We are still very busy in between rain/thunder showers getting all the boats out. On Wednesday, the girls were leaving here with the sun shining, and getting soaked on their way back to the marina. At least today and tomorrow’s forecast look nice before a few more days of rain start Sunday again.
After long consideration, we have decided that we will be suspending our propane delivery service. The costs associated for compliance with regulations have become prohibitive to make this service continue to be viable. We will still be filling cylinders onsite.
Hope everyone is enjoying the spring and looking forward to much better weather as summer quickly approaches.
This picture of a young lady moose with a calf due any day soon is a sure sign of spring! Considering the challenges we faced last weekend with Hydro, weather and highway closures it was great to see everyone up and enjoying the first big weekend of the summer!
Thank you to the Hydro crews who worked so quickly to get power back up for the area. It is our understanding from one of the crews yesterday that 95% of the area is fixed.
