Dec. 17, 2021

Well over the past week we’ve seen a range of 30 degrees in temperatures, with yesterday feeling and looking like late March. Hopefully Mother Nature sorts herself out so that we get some frost in the ground and lakes start freezing before more snow flies again.

The snowmobiles are moving through the shop, getting ready for what we hope is a great winter of play time ahead.  As always, it is hard to believe that another year has come and gone. It sure was a wild ride this year, and we are looking forward to a bit of rest over the coming weeks.  The store is closed now until the New Year, re-opening January 3rd, but the shop is still in full swing so we can make sure to meet all of your winter needs! We are still collecting corks, but no longer pop can tabs. Thank you to everyone who brings bags upon bags in to the store for Leah!

We say it often but we really are so fortunate to have such a great crew here. They genuinely care about Little Gull and all of our loyal customers and we don’t know what we would do without each of them.  Luke, Matt, Shawna-Marie, Gabe, Michelle, Mary, Greg, Linda, Kim, Gideon, Mike, Evelyn, Nikola, Kendra, Natasha, Jordan.  Plus those ever helpful behind the scenes friends who are always willing to lend a hand when we need it to get through the especially crazy moments!  It’s pretty special to have a team who get along and actually enjoy spending so much time working together, especially in a fairly high stress environment at certain times of the year. They kept up the new tradition of burger and bonfire nights this summer, and even got some play time in on the tube this year.  They do a great job and we are very lucky to have them.

It’s been another strange year for everyone and we want to say a big THANK YOU to all of you for continuing to support our Little Gull family. Your constant loyalty makes it possible for us to continue to be here for you each year. Thank you for another great season and we hope that you enjoy the coming holidays with family and friends however possible.

Merry Christmas from all of the crew here at Little Gull and we will see you in the New Year!
