Just a short note to show the ice conditions as of today. It is pulling away slightly so my guess is it will be 7-10 days roughly before it will be gone unless the rain planned for Friday and Saturday helps it along. Have a great weekend.

Spring prep
Easter weekend is about to begin. As you can see by the photo winter is not wanting to go away yet. This was yesterday morning. The roads are trying to dry out but with rain in the forecast, they will still be soft. I received this link yesterday and some may be aware, but for others, the lake is rising and ice damage is expected. Please take a moment to read this BULLETIN for more information. The ice is pulling away from the shores quickly as a result of the rising water levels. The ice is still quite thick but no one should be venturing out on it and please keep an eye on your pets!
