Well as you can see, the lake has a skim of ice over it now, but very little snow due to the rain and warmer temperatures over the past week. Not a bad thing, as it will be easier for more ice to form – the lakes are NOT safe to be out on yet, and there is lots of running water, so please keep that in mind as you venture up for a weekend at the cottage. The snowmobile trails are not in great shape either. The groomers are trying to work on them, but they are quite icy right now.
For those of you who are already dreaming about warmer temperatures, the Boat Show is on in Toronto from January 20-29th at Exhibition Place. If you are interested in looking for a new toy for the summer, please feel free to get in touch. Hope to see you there!
Well where does the time go?! We hope everyone is enjoying the holidays so far and that Santa was good to all the kids out there. It was nice to have a white Christmas for a change! There is a fair bit of snow on the ground and the groomers are out working on the snowmobile trails. Hopefully it will be a better year for the sleds than last year. The trails are not open yet,but you can check 
Another month has come and gone, and what a gorgeous month it was! It hardly felt like fall until a week ago. Leaves have started to change and the water has dropped very quickly over the past week. If you haven’t done so already, please make sure to make arrangement with Gord for us to pick up your boat as soon as possible so we can get them all in and ready to hibernate.
