Well its been a strange winter! Snowmobilers have been out on the lakes…don’t know if you’d catch me out there yet or not (hard to believe I’m saying that in February!). Most of the Buckhorn trails have been groomed and are open – conditions are like early season conditions. This weekend saw lots of people out trying to enjoy what little winter we have so far. It was a gorgeous weekend and snowmobiling was pretty good for what we have been dealt this year weather-wise. Sally’s preparing her spring lists so if there’s anything you need please contact her soon to ensure its ready. Winter hasn’t given us much to think about so folks are on to the next season….maybe winter will show up in March! Look for us on facebook in the near future.

Welcome to another new year! Hope everyone had a great holiday season. We are eagerly anticipating colder weather (ice) and snow so that we can get out and enjoy winter activities. The lakes are NOT safe to be on yet! Mississagua and Catchacoma still have large open sections that aren’t necessarily visible from shore. The groomers have been out trying to pack what little snow we have in anticipation of more snow to come….hopefully sooner than later!
With the Toronto boat show on the horizon next week, any thoughts on upgrades to your summer toys can be started now. Please contact Sally to start the ball rolling.

After some friendly reminders that I`ve been falling behind in my updates I guess its time to get back on the ball! We`ve had some snowy weather over the last couple of weeks, most of which hasn`t stuck around for very long, but the most recent blizzard left us with 2-3 inches. We`re busy getting the sleds ready as ponds are starting to freeze up and hopefully more white stuff to come! Give Sally a call to help out with ideas for Christmas presents over the next couple of weeks and to book your sled for service. Our hours now are Mon-Sat 9-4. and closed on Sundays. Over the holidays we are closed Dec. 23-26, 31 and Jan 1-2. Have a great week!

Been busy busy trying to get all the boats away. Thanksgiving weekend certainly was the nicest in years. We are seeing lots of new customers this fall which is really great! Our hours for November are 9am-4pm Monday-Saturday and CLOSED on Sundays until the snowmobile trails open. If anyone out there still hasn’t phoned Sally to have their boat picked up, it might not be a bad idea as the weather is definitely changing.
We are also closed November 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th and 18th for inventory.

Well another summer is drawing to a close. Water levels seem to be at the lowest in years for this time of year. As you can see, Leslie has finished up making our storage unit much more eye appealing!!! She’s been working at her special project for a couple of weeks now and the outcome was more than any of us ever envisioned!

We are busy putting the boats to bed already and are looking forward to a busy fall. Have a great week of back to school fun!

Another labour day weekend is almost here. The water has dropped a lot in the last couple of weeks, nearing October levels now. Starting September 5th, our hours will change to 8-5 7 days per week. Have a great weekend!

Special Project

Well the summer is rolling along the water has dropped about 3 feet in the last couple of weeks and slowly continues to drop. Some exciting news: as of this morning we are pumping PROPANE again…and the staff are so excited……
If you haven’t confirmed with Sally for storage this winter it is best to do so soon.
